Phantom Blade Zero Flesh Lily: Find It and Help Yu'er

Hua, the boss encountered during the Phantom Blade Zero Flesh Lily quest

Find the Flesh Lily below Valley Sha-Chi Tower, defeat Hua in Flesh Lily Fields and collect the Twinned Flesh Lilies from the corpse by the pavilion. Then return to Yu’er near Forge at the outpost after defeating Peng Meng. Hua’s boss reward and the flower pickup are separate, so search the arena even after the victory notification appears. Yu’er’s later story continues beyond this first hand-in. [1] [2]

Route from Valley Sha-Chi Tower 1st Floor

  1. Travel to the Valley Sha-Chi Tower 1st Floor bell.
  2. Follow the stairs and go around the tower’s side to the descending wooden route.
  3. Take the long ramp down toward Flesh Lily Fields.
  4. Enter Hua’s arena and defeat her.
  5. Inspect the corpse beside the pavilion where she stood and collect the lilies.
  6. Check the inventory, then return to Yu’er at the outpost.

The route descends from the tower area. If your search keeps taking you upward or back into the main road, reset at the named bell and identify the long downward wooden path. The pavilion pickup is the most important check once the arena is clear: receiving Scarlet Wraithblade from the boss does not itself collect the quest flower. [1] [2]

Returning the lilies to Yu’er

Yu’er appears next to Forge at the outpost after Peng Meng. Speak to her with the lilies and finish the relevant conversation. She gives one back as a memento. Keep that ordinary Flesh Lily because the healer story later uses it in Pangzhen. Completing this first delivery advances the chain; her father’s situation remains part of the continuing quest. [1] [3]

If Yu’er is absent, first confirm that Peng Meng is defeated and that you are at the outpost’s Forge location. If the dialogue does not advance, inspect the inventory for the quest pickup. This distinguishes a missing flower from an NPC-stage problem and prevents an unnecessary trip back through an already completed boss encounter.

Apprentice Healer: gather and hand in all three herbs

Collect all three and return to Yu’er before defeating Jing Ye. The hand-in matters as much as finding the items: check that Apprentice Healer advances before progressing into the next major encounter. The side-quest and trophy guides both flag early healer stages as missable. [3] [4]

During this stage, work from the three-item list rather than revisiting every flower patch. Check each herb’s full inventory name, mark the area complete and move to the next. Once the set is ready, return immediately so a later story event cannot overtake an unfinished conversation.

Forest and Pangzhen follow-up

At the Thieves’ Camp in Crimson Forest, speak with Yu’er again and complete A Healer’s Mercy before Bai Chilian. Continue the chain through Pangzhen. After defeating Blaze, collect the Crimson Flesh Lily; after Chang Hong, enter Yu’er’s home ahead and speak with her father. The retained ordinary Flesh Lily is used in that interaction. [3] [4]

The ordinary Flesh Lily and Crimson Flesh Lily are distinct quest items. Keep the original memento and inspect new boss-area pickups as you progress. The quest guide warns that meeting the father without having collected the original flower can fail Flesh Lily, so finish the Valley pickup and delivery before reaching that scene. [3] [4]

Fix the stage that is actually missing

Hua is defeated, but there is no flower in the inventory. Return to the corpse by her pavilion. Search the arena’s interactable pickup, rather than looking for another combat reward.

The first delivery is done, but the Tale continues. Follow Yu’er to Thieves’ Camp and the later healer stages. The first hand-in is one milestone in a longer story.

You are approaching a major boss with herbs still in your inventory. Return for the hand-in now and confirm the journal changes. Save in a separate slot before the progression event.

The journal already shows a failed Tale. Check a save from before its deadline. Further travel cannot recreate an earlier quest state. For a trophy-focused run, keep separate saves around the Jing Ye, Bai Chilian and later Pangzhen transitions so the healer route can be checked while recovery is still possible.
